Who wouldn’t love to see an Isabel Marant beautifully wrapped bag under the tree this Christmas? I was lucky enough to have mine, and since a very special Santa landed my town a bit earlier, I just couldn’t resist and wait till Christmas Day to open it. So I did…. And I’m utterly in love now with this gorgeous Marant bomber jacket with leather sleeves.
You might remember the recent chaos in H&M stores and the moment its website collapsed as soon its H&M collaboration with the French designer went live. Every single piece was sold out within hours and even seen on eBay later on for three times its original price. Being able to get hold of one of the exclusive items, and of course, of a Marant design for a bargain was kind of priceless. However, this absolutely beautiful, yet cool, biker/bomber jacket can’t even compare. It is a most definite special garment in my wardrobe. Thanks to a very special lady, who not only is my loyal reader, but a very fashionable Londoner! Now, get an official first “Merry Christmas!”.
Ladies, let me introduce you to Boux Avenue, the perfect destination for glamorous ladies. Imagine entering a store, wanting everything, without actually needing anything. Sounds familiar?
Boux Avenue is a boutique that makes you feel a bit more special… a bit more cosy… a bit more SEXY! Boom!
I was surprised with the variety of lingerie they had and how beautifully they fit, plus the pretty much affordable prices. Bras’ are around £25 and underwear £6 each.
Even more exciting, they offer a free fitting service, in which a specialist (lady) measures you and advises what shape and size fits your body and shape best; yes, for free.
One thing I can promise, you’ll feel pampered while you’re in the fitting rooms, each room is named under lingerie classic fabrics such as Lace, Satin…; Plus, you can choose form a selection of lights (day, dusk, night) so you can see how the lingerie fits you under different lights. And any if you need any other size, press the concierge buttom and your stylist is waiting for you just right there.
I chose the classic lingerie colours black and red for Christmassy outfits, plus a completely new shape (the black bra) that gives the perfect silhouette. For stay-in nights these slippers and the winter candles are just the perfect conmbination, with of course, a hot tea and a cosy blanket. Looking for Christmas presents? Not a bad idea!

There’s nothing like a nice wool Fedora hat for winter, and if it comes with a special feather touch even better. For long I’ve been trying hats in shops in the search of a new winter favourite accessory, but none of them convinced me enough. If it wasn’t the shape, size or details, it was the unmatchable price tag. So, surprinsingly and totally unexpected I walked pass by Accessorize and found THIS! Tried it on and felt it was the one. Made of 100% wool it was a bargain.
Sometimes basics become more exciting when you mix those that break the rules. Red chequered with leopard leather? Oh yeah! These were my basics before the freezing winter, they might stay in though, but surely covered by lots of layers! I must admit this are my definite favourite pair of shoes in my wardrobe; they are comfortable, super cool and can walk miles with them on. The chequered top, well you know it already, you’ve seen it here and here. Still, it’s great to have our favourite pieces and play with them, that way you’ll will feel good and never repetitive.

If I happen to think of the London’s designers of the moment Louise Gray, Richard Nicoll, Sophia Webster, Peter Pilotto and Thomas Tait, a high price tag – together with absolutely gorgeous pieces – will come to my head.
However, in celebration of Westfield London’s fifth anniversary, these five designers have created a limited edition piece at the affordable price of £65 each.
Since designer jumpers are the latest must-have of the season, each designer made an exclusive sweatshirt, which of course, isn’t made of the same materials they use for their collections, but, leaving the high end quality on the side, the valuable aspect of it, is that the designs come from their masterful minds. Only 300 pieces were made and sold in an exclusive pop-up shop at The Atrium of Westfield London. All the proceeds from each sale went to their charity partner, Save the Children, guaranteeing raising a minimum of £10,000.
Richard Nicoll offered a grey sweatshirt with a pink ’5′ on the chest; my crush duo, Peter Pilotto, designed a black slim fit jumper; the awesome shoe designer Sophie Webster put the spirit of her shoe designs by mixing monochrome stripes with pastels; Thomas Tait added the masculine oversized and asymmetric monocolour piece; and the textile and fashion designer, Louise Gray, introduced her bright, textured and rule-breaking design, something characteristic from her collections.
I, of course, couldn’t resist and got for myself the colouful Gray’s sweatshirt. Not only I absolutely love the awesome design and the clash of prints in it, but the fact that it’s a limited edition, it’s affordable and best of all, every penny of it helped a good cause.
