Kiss me over the bridge

For long I have loved the Lulu Guinness lips clutch and its uniqueness. As soon as she launched a collaboration with Uniqlo a couple of months ago, my dear mom came with this t-shirt, which has one of Lulu’s iconic prints, as a little surprise. My first thought: I have to wear it with my clutch, like the lips the shirt is missing. I did, went on this bridge and took my Lulus with me, well, on me and snappy snaps! The look is much of what her label stands for; the classic colour palette of black, white and red, just as the Uniqlo collection is, flirty and slightly glamorous. I added a casual touch with the boyfriend jeans, that any boyfriend seems to like, a classy jacket, accessories and red lipstick. Voila!

Hello there you dear Monday. Back to work ladies and gents!
I don’t know if it’s the case with you, but I rarely I have lots of time to get ready before leaving home. Lately, life quite runs quickly by the clock. However, there are exceptions, just like this weekend, were I pimped up my usual straight hair with a wavy look and, maybe for the first time, I wear hot red lipstick, which added a great match with the outfit and the colourful indian skirt I recently wore in a completely different style, check it out here. And I know, what a twisted combination of that rough skirt with the sequin, but hey, I needed to be ready for the night too, and the contrast was softened by the the transparent silk of the blouse.
Anyways, it was a girls day out with my mom and night’s out with my girlfriends, and a touch of red was it! Happy week!…

Polka dots swing

Don’t ask me why, but here I am again, saying hello to Friday swinging alone this polka dots skirt. Perhaps is that Friday feeling? Oh yes, and a big ‘Oh lala’ too!… Comparing to last week’s swing dress, this one is way more casual and sporty chic; and yes with just a bit of wind, a bit more revealing. It was cheering up my steps, but kept me watching up for the breeze… a bit of classic Marilyn Monroe’s blown up dress. Well, baggy jumper, but cheeky skirt, ha!

The good vibes are all over the place -hard work too though- and the little sunshine I manage to get during the day really cheers up the morning. Besides that, I’ve got into a new mood: music! My playlists might be old stuff and to be honest I’m not that type of person that seeks what’s rocking the top charts and is constantly updating the iPod. But lately, I’ve been so into new bands and a more alternative wave of music. And since I got that super cool pair of Urban Ears as a very special present I just happen to listen to a bit of music everyday, and I must say I’m enjoying it big times… The two perfect cheers ups!

Checkered shorts

It’s been a short while since I spotted this pair of checkered printed shorts in Zara and since I’ve been in love with all the black & white wave, plus completely in love with Louis Vuitton SS13 collection, I didn’t think it much. Not only that, it also has the neon detail on the back pocket, another thing going on when I go window shopping. It’s that sporty, yet stylish garment of the outfit. Also lately, I’ve been in the mood of wearing accessories on my head. In the search for it in my drawers, I found this old headband I wore as a bridesmaid for my cousin’s wedding. I just managed to find a pic from that day, see at the bottom…

Hello Friday, hello swing dress! This can be the serious and happy dress in one. Black and grey, long sleeves, covers you all up, it’s not short, yet not long, but it has that swing effect that comes just up to the knees and cheers your steps. Versatility.

Lace and peplum

This weekend the sun said hi, and the rain too… but after all it was a chilly happy sunny one. It was the opportunity to finally go bare legged and add a white breeze to welcome spring. And not only that but also to wear lace and why not that classic peplum. I even went for peplum over peplum with that jacket. It was the first time I wore my Jeffrey Campell’s lethal pointy pumps and mixed a classic look with with these on my feet. I can’t hide it. Although I love my all black outfits I was happy going for the pale shade and mixed it with new garments that have become oldish (just months) in my wardrobe such as the peplum dress and the eye clutch. Still in the monochrome mode.
