FINALLY…Better late than never… Ash sneakers in my wardrobe. I must admit I was quite skeptical about this trend, however, since summer I started the search, but it became a cycle: found it, unconvinced by the sole or shape, checked the price, thought it was not worth it, that it would be out of fashion very soon and exit. But, after months of thinking about it, as soon as I saw this pair I finally felt for them. The shape is perfect. Plus, I absolutely LOVED the colour and mix of leather with suede. What do you think?
I rarely post music in here, but today I would like to start the week sharing this great new band called My Youth, not only because the singer is a lovely friend of mine, but because this latest song ‘Miracle People’ is simply perfect… the lyrics, the flow, harmony, voices, instruments and everything about it, I could just replay and replay… Amazing band, well done guys! Love it!
As we get closer to Christmas I realised that I haven’t had time to do much of shopping lately, however, gift guides manage to black mail me appearing everywhere! So I thought it was about time to have a look online and create a wishlist of my favourite spots for different budgets… I focused on accessories, that I wish I could get them all… literally A-L-L! With this variety of leather goods, clutches, watches, jewellery, umbrella, Grace’s book and even a union jack cushion, for sure you have a nice selection of timeless gifts… If you could choose your ONE favourite, which would you do? … Happy shopping, wish with me too!

Last year the tradition of the the ‘advent calendar’ suddenly was back in my home. After not counting down the dates for few years, I introduced you last year this very different one my mom bought -a Christmas tree with its ornaments in each of the tiny drawers indicating the date… I have of course seen all ornaments already, but this year I decided to make a tiny daily wish for every each ornament. Are you following this tradition this Christmas?…
If you follow me on Instagram (@fashioninsideout) you probably noticed I get quite excited by the Christmas lights, especially in London as they invade the main and small streets of this amazing city. This weekend I spotted some pretty ones and repetitive but lovely others from previous years… And… I officially got in the Christmas mood. Hold on, is it Christmas already? Time flies!!!… How are you getting on with the lights, Christmas carols and the whole atmosphere? Are you yet there? If not, join me!!!
As I walked on the high streets I was way too tempted by all the window displays and I really felt for this studded/bling bling suede brogues from Church’s, as well as for the colourful Louis Vuitton and yes, a bit of Batman lights brought from the film to Oxford Street…
Also, my new orange beanie with its huge pom pom was my weekend favourite, I shared two outfits wearing it and it will be part of much more to come, it is the coolest. What was you weekend must-have? Have a great week!
Cold, but sunny day in London today, so it is a happy winter Friday! Let the weekend begin… Muaaaak!
What do you when you receive a gift or goody bags at parties or events? Well, perhaps you will get it and act like you don’t really care what’s inside, but as soon as you get a chance, you open it curiously and start trying everything like a little girl opening Santa’s presents. At least that’s my case! It is the surprise effect I think…
I have been into quite exciting and fun events in the past month and I must say that the goody bags were fuuun! I rarely wear/use what comes inside them, but these could possibly be my favourite ones, there are just cheering.
First, from the bloggers event of MeeMee.com with Trace PR, well this one was already suppose to be a fun night at Brixton Academy. It not only had lots of label.m hair products, but also a sewing kit and book, Crystal Castles album, an old school camera and glittery star frames! Just happy moments…
Second, the British Red Cross ball where I volunteered last month. Amazing gifts, mostly directly from Brazil, as the theme was this South American country. One of the things that Rio de Janeiro is famous for is for its swimsuits (the quality if the lycra and hot designs) so a bikini was a must. An exclusive MCM travel case was part of it and for volunteers, that beautiful blue leather coin purse; music albums and the documentary of Wasteland, which sends you to world’s largest trash city featuring renowned artist Vik Muniz. I never thought it to be SO GOOD. Highly recommended! In short, goody bags of hair, beauty, fashion, music and Latin culture! Not bad at all right? Happy Friday!!!
