This is exactly my kind of mood on a lazy Sunday.
Tennis shoes, a baggy/toasty jumper, a beanie (not only for the low degrees, but also to hide the messy hair) and sunglasses to avoid any sort of eye make-up. Nice brunch, some occasional food/flower shopping in the local area, perhaps having a snap with the penguin buddy from the local ice-cream shop and why not, a bit of work.
What’s your kind of Sunday fashion mood?
Some blue skies are worth sharing, specially when the sun is shining in London. Parks get crowded and going out for a walk is a must. And if you have dogs, it’s even much more fun. Oh, and it was the perfect Sunday funday to go sporty and wear the Nike FreeiD at the park.
Today is a historic Sunday for Venezuela. The country will be voting during the presidential elections and the result will mark the future of the country. So today I’m wearing yellow, blue and red -Patriotic and homesick. I’m off to vote… Happy Sunday! Peace ✌
Venezolanos todos, a salir a votar! Por el color que sea, vota! Es tu derecho. Hoy llevo el amarillo, azul y rojo. Y tu? Feliz Domingo! Paz. ✌
I’ve just realised that recently I’ve been adding accessories to my wardrobe in prune colour. No reason why, guess I’ve just got a hidden obsession for it, plus it goes with everything and it certainly was a hot autumn/winter colour.
Just looking at my latest hats and only Ash sneakers, I have to admit it. That red wine shade has been one of my favourites!
Today it’s the birthday of not only the very special person in my life but also the main photographer of this blog carrying the camera around and sometimes coming with me to the shows and events: my dearest mom Janin. Yes I know, she truly looks like my sister! She deserves a little space in here today, hence this post. Happy Birthday mami!
The Sixties fashion is back and with it comes the head scarf that I’m loving right now and looks so lush in iconic fashion personalities such as my big girl crush: Audrey Hepburn. Lately Ive seen it around, during fashion weeks Russian lovely Miroslava Duma was wearing it too, and what a touch of elegance it is, don’t you agree? It reminds me of the black and white fancy photos of my granny; I used to go through them again and again. The big rounded sunglasses and the silk headscarf, even more stylish than the Queen! Ok enough, I might just go for it now…
I have put together 10 fashion apps, not in order to a number 1 best, but including a variety of apps for shopping addicts, bargain hunters and all fashion lovers! From creating outfits to designing your shoes… I wrote it for the Independent and i newspapers. See below the page and the full feature HERE!
Which app have you got in your pocket?
I don’t know if you have heard about the brand Mint Velvet, which is all about ‘relaxed glamour’, taking the current trends and relaxing them. When I go around shopping their stockists at department stores I always spot the brand and have got few pieces from them in my wardrobe, even my favourite black leather jacket, which quite represents the brand with the relaxed sleeve hanguing in the front of the jacket.
And here are the looks with the Mint Velvet I have in my wardrobe…
