Ibiza part 2: Sa Punta pier

By August 18, 2014 OUTFITS 1, Travels

sa-punta-outfitWelcome back to a bit more of Ibiza… When we took a break from the sun, we were craving a food experience, so we got in the hunt for nice place around and we accidentally found this hidden spot called Sa Punta, located in the highest point of the Talamanca Bay. A lovely restaurant with a pier just in front of it. We got inside and the cutest boutique welcomed us (I was seriously wanting the entire shop – So many colours – it was so Ibiza, so chic, yet so hippie! But I really couldn’t justify a shopping spree…) We sat down, enjoyed fresh sea food while listening to the chill out tunes of a live DJ, and contemplated the fantastic view! With the sun shining, the pier was, of course, subject of photos and even some hot yoga positions. Just scroll down to get my point. Happy Monday!

And so we chilled out in the food highlight of the trip, not so much for the food, but for the little cute place and dock we’ve just discovered!

Ibiza Part 1: Formentera

By August 11, 2014 Travels

Hellou people!! It’s been a long while and how much I’ve missed this spot…

But it’s all been for a good reason; I’ve been working very hard on The Independent’s fashion page and I invite you all to visit (do tell me what you think!). I’m really enjoying it and long working hours have left me limited time to share the love in here. However, I won’t disappear and I will stay around for weekly content and catch ups! I might be sharing updates of the best articles we covered on The Indy online over the week! How does that sound?

In the meantime, I have some nice shots tu share from a place I recently fell in love with… Ibiza! Last week I came back from a very very short, but greeeat holiday. Formentera stole my heart and I just can’t wait to go back. This first post is packed with the day that kicked off a much needed girls trip to the Spanish island. We rented a private boat to get to the prettiest beaches far from Ibiza and so we head to Formentera and its surroundings. And wow! What a voyage to a magical world it was. It’s surrounded by what they call “calas” which means creeks. Imagine hidden places surrounded by big rocks and some green. Hues of blue and turquoise water. Stunning…

And yes, I was there on the week that felt the whole world was there (when all celebs went to Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci’s star-studded party). I even got to see Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom. More on that later.

I hope I can transport you to the beach with this stunning place. Have a lovely Monday!

POP OF BLUE

By June 26, 2014 OUTFITS 1

Royal blue is a colour that personally, never gets old. A classic one. This summer number is from last year, but as I hit the high-street I keep seeing it next to the beautiful pastels of the season, and to prove how pretty it looks with pastels, I wore it with a baby blue blazer… Other than that I’ve got this new fabulous tote that has slowly become my best friends over summer! I literally feel like Mary Poppins with it, I can carry everything, even my big camera, everywhere with style, a gorgeous piece from Follie Follie’s spring collection (now on sale, woop!)

Btw, how cool are these graffitis from one of my favourite weekend spots in London? Yep, if you’re around, this is Acklam Village Market in Notting Hill.

I WAS WEARING–> Handbag/Bolso: FOLLIE FOLLIE ; Dress/Vestido: H&M ; Blazer: ZARA ; Watch: JORG GRAY ; Ring/Anillo: BIMBA Y LOLA (on sale now) ; Sandals/Sandalias: STUART WEITZMAN follie-follie Read More

SALVATORE SANTORO: It’s not python, it’s laser cut

By May 1, 2014 OUTFITS 1

laser-cut-coatBack to the outfits, I’d like to focus on this gorgeous reversible leather trench. Not any leather jacket, but a laser cut one in the shape of python texture. Clever and pretty unique design from another emerging Italian designer, who lands in London through the private showroom The Wardrobe Room. How cool it looks with such a casual boyfriend outfit like this?

I couldn’t say much more of this outfit, other than how cosy I felt with this big warm jumper. Embracing the monochrome and the hearts, this was very much the option for a freezing yet sunny London day during fashion week. The big plastic fantastic yellow necklace from last year’s spring season added the bright touch to the all black & white look… Oh yeah, my mom, joined the love too!

I WAS WEARING–> Jumper: ROBBI & NIKKI; Jeans: ZARA; Boots: KURT GREIGER; Handbag: REBECCA MINKOFF; Necklace: H&M (last year); Rings: MONICA VINADER, COS; Sunnies: RAY BAN

I am obviously super excited to come back with a new post after spending all my ‘blog time’ in redesigning FashionInsideOut. It, of course, needs lots more. It never ends. And since I’m not a web developer, every little thing takes me ages. But here I am and you can now take a first look to the new design! What do you think!? Tell me everything on the comments below please. Would love to hear from you!

So, and this outfit? A combination of old stuff and the new stuff I got from the January sales (v soon on the blog too). Ruffles are a statement this season and the season to come… So I thought this dress was a versatile piece of sale with a pretty big ruffle in an unusual green shade in my wardrobe… The chic details comer with my precious Miu Miu

All photos taken at the beautiful Holland Park, London.

I WAS WEARING –> Dress, boots/vestido/botas: ZARA (sales); Jumper/sueter: H&M; Necklace/collar: NEW LOOK; Hat/sombrero: VAIL VILLAGE (USA); Vintage cocktail ring/anillo cocktail: PORTOBELLO ROAD; Rings/anillos pequenos: MONICA VINADER, NORMANDIE; Handbag/bolsa: MIU MIU

FEELING COSY AND SEXY LIKE A H! SHEEP

By January 9, 2014 OUTFITS 1

fashioninsideout-skirt-jumper

We, women, all know that when we start using a handbag for a day, we end up using it for the whole week – and a bit more. That’s how we are with accessories. I, particularly stick to the same handbag and perhaps, coat or jacket for few days, and that’s what just happened. I just saw myself doing this for two days in a row (proof on my previous post Silk Circles). And even worse, I stopped by Holland Park once again to shoot these photos (it’s on my way to the office). Hey! that’s how I can squeeze in my love for FashionInsideOut.

Other than that, I wore for the first time this super cool sheep jumper that I got for Christmas – It’s from the affordable line by London’s street designer of the moment Henry Holland (H! for Debenhams). By combining it with a mini leather skirt and very street accessories, such as my punky beanie, I could only feel cosy and sexy. What do you think?

I was wearing–> Sheep jumper: H! by Henry Holland; Jacket: Isabel Marant; Skirt: Topshop; Shoes: Russell & Bromley; Studded beanie: H&M; Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff; Necklace: Aldo; Rings: Monica Vinader, Cos, Normandie, H&M, Urban Outfitters
