While learning French in the breathtaking Cote d’ Azur of the French Riviera, I, of course, wandered around spotting cool local shop and unique designs in the blue coast.
Particularly in the colourful Old Town (Vieille Ville) of Villefranche-sur-Mer, I discovered a very small but amazingly embracing store, with an inviting owner selling beautiful silver and fantasy jewellery that is definitely worth buying, as for such a low price you’ll get a unique design… And well, I loved the store, my credit card didn’t.
It’s owner Francoise, kindly shared with FashionInsideOut her particular jewellery, where does it comes from, what material are they made of and what does tourists buy the most. Have a French taste of Villefranche’s best shop called Jouer de Plage:

In a nearby store I could also find the coolest ”made in France” espadrilles for the amazing price of 10€ a pair… who needs Toms?
Very close to Villefranche is the the exclusive and stunning small town of St Jean Cap Ferrat, which also has petit streets invaded by shops for locals and tourists visiting its turquoise waters. This was the most colourful and varied shop (favourite).
