Sometimes basics become more exciting when you mix those that break the rules. Red chequered with leopard leather? Oh yeah! These were my basics before the freezing winter, they might stay in though, but surely covered by lots of layers! I must admit this are my definite favourite pair of shoes in my wardrobe; they are comfortable, super cool and can walk miles with them on. The chequered top, well you know it already, you’ve seen it here and here. Still, it’s great to have our favourite pieces and play with them, that way you’ll will feel good and never repetitive.

Chequered is a classic during winter and this winter it is rocking every store and designer collection. Tartan garments are simply a must have. I’ve got the red chequered trousers and for a while I’ve been looking for a nice chequered coat for the season, and this met all the requirements. Cool, yet keeps me toasty and has the perfect combination of colours that could look good with all sorts of colours for the lawyers underneath. The best plus: an affordable price tag.
It can certainly become my favourite coat for this winter, so I fear wearing it too much without realising, like I always do with my best buys. But I’m pretty much ready to rock it. The next chequered garment I’m going for will be the scarf – already have my eyes on it. And you? What’s your tartan kind of style?
I was wearing–> Jumper and coat: Pull & Bear; Jeans: Diesel ; Boots: Russell & Bromley; Handbag: Miu Miu; Spiral ring: Sam Ubhi; small rings: H&M; Necklace: Fashionlogy
Can you guess what does the FG on my jumper stands for? Teasing everyone who asked, the best bet I got said was ‘feeling good’ and what a perfect suggestion! But I can’t betray its real meaning.
But before introducing this new oversized jumper or guessing what the FG stands for, let’s look back at the Fyodor Golan Spring/Summer 14 show during London Fashion Week –> Fyodor Golan’s Electric Children playful and sharp SS14 collectionGood. Now you’ve spotted it right? From the catwalk to my wardrobe I was so so happy to have with me one of my favourite pieces from the pair latest collection.
For the first time I had a busy agenda that involved lots of walking so I styled it with a casual and comfy outfit. Boyfriend jeans and my beloved leopard brogues. I just can’t really wait to wear it so much more with completely different looks!
I was wearing–> Jumper: Fyodor Golan (SS14), Jeans: Zara; Shoes: Office London; Handbag: Miu Miu; Earrings: Vintage (Barcelona market); Sunnies: Rayban
I told you I would be showing you a full leopard outfit, which was thrown at me at the DKNY x Maiden Voyage event last week – and oh I didn’t really complain, I was ready for pull it off. I did mention it already, but I really don’t mind doing so again: I am in love with DKNY AW13, it has so much gorgeous leopard print in every garment, in every style. The knitwear in particular was one of a kind and what about this oversized coat? I felt like I was ready to skydive!

Yep, this is probably the last post from my holidays in Mexico. This time, once again at the beautiful hidden jungle surrounded by cascades in Xalapa, Mexico, Descabezadero. You first saw it HERE, with the outfit of swinging pink fringes. This is by far one of my all times favourite tunic in my wardrobe, ideal to wear on top of the bikini during any exotic holidays. Happy Sunday and let Autumn/Winter begin in the following posts, accordingly with the weather.
I was wearing–> Tunic: Michael Kors (old); Sandals: French Connection; Sunglasses: Oakley
I still got a couple more group of pictures from my trip to Mexico in August. Other things came on the way while I was sharing them, such a London Fashion Week, so thought of giving it a break, specially because autumn has arrived. But a bit of a continuous summer and some vivid colours won’t harm anyone right? Just like this purple wall that worked as the perfect background for this simple, complete Zara look as I stood on the grey stones. A perfect outfit for those, still enjoying the sun.
I was wearing–> T-shirt and Short: Zara (Spring/Summer 13); Ring: Sam Ubhi; Necklace: H&M
This is my last outfit from London Fashion Week, Im afraid. On Day 4 I went for something more street, inspired a bit on Moschino’s A/W13 punk collection. Combining red tartan trousers and a kind of Michael Jackson jacket. Thrilling!
Este es mi ultimo look del London Fashion Week. En el Dia 4 fui por un estilo mas street, inspirado un poco en la colección de Moschino O/I 13. Combine los pantalones tartan rojos con mi chaqueta estilo Michael Jackson.
I was wearing–> Jacket: Jigsaw (AW12); Checkered trousers: Ralph Lauren; Underneath jumper: Next; Boots: Russell & Bromley; Handbag: MiuMiu; Rings: Normandie
Hey sweets! London Fashion Week kicks off today. Hip hip…hurray! So before I can think straight again after a heavy-work couple of weeks, I was looking back at what I’ve worn for the past fashion weeks, so thought of sharing some of the pics, including some old outfits from by very beginnings at the hectic week. It will be a long long day tomorrow, for all the latest updates follow be on Instagram (@fashioninsideout) and Twitter. Im hoping the usual annoying lack of reception doesn’t interfere. See you at the shows and fun darlings!
