Yes, I’m back in London after a week of intense sun. Back to the freezing weather! Shouldn’t March bring spring? As you can see I still got all my winter wardrobe out and it looks like I will continue to wear it all for now. According to the weather cast it will snow this weekend, how’s that even possible? Can’t wait for the sun to hit town and the colourful outfits to walk the capital, eventually. Meanwhile, coats, hats and gloves on!
I was wearing–> Coat: Zara; Skirt and shoulder bag: Topshop; Scarf: Warehouse; Gloves: Hugo Boss
This is another look I wore during London Fashion Week autumn/winter 2013! Welcoming the Spring season on a sunny day with floral prints and mixing it with an ‘Oh lala!’ jumper for the chilly weather. I added the neon touch of the season with the golden and orange necklace and kept it neutral with the brogue Pippa handbag, which again, worked perfect for a LFW day. Have you started wearing any Spring wardrobe yet? I know, the last two days have been freezing this end of the world, however, a floral breeze on Friday will cheer you up!…
Btw, you probably noticed the NEW FACE of FashionInsideOut! What do you think about the great logo that web designer Vivi Matheus did for the blog? Big thanks to her!
While being in the American West on my Christmas holidays I went to the rooftop of a shopping mall in Denver… Loved the beautiful view and the mountains hiding at the back of the city -perfect for this shoot! This can possibly be the most colourful matchy match you have ever seen on me. A perfect orange combination of accessories for a sunny day during winter, this look is an example of how much accessories can do, don’t you agree?
I’m now back in London and starting the first working week of 2013, like lots of you! So to newcomers and hard workers during holidays: have an amazing week!
I was wearing–> Scarf and gloves: Burberry; Handbag: Nine West; Boots: Topshop; Coat: H&M; Jeans: Zara; Sunglasses: Dior
It’s Friday! And I am pretty much excited I will be seeing my family and friends in Venezuela this weekend! Yes, flying to my native land tomorrow! I am so very much exhausted with busy days while I try to enjoy much time as possible with my beautiful grandmother, who you saw when I welcomed her to town!
While in London, the weather has been cold and rainy, so yesterday I went for a layered outfit mixing textures: t-shirt, jean shirt, blazer and opened boot trousers… Adding a twist to my style with those trousers and tartan. Oh yes, and the matching hat from Camden Town market! Also, what do you think about the handbag? Modalu beauty from its SS 13 collection!
My knitwear is out and as you have probably noticed Autumn comes with lots of metallics -silver and gold- again. I remember this sweater from Zara’s collection some months ago, but is now again the chic silver from the season. I combined the look with those J Brand trousers, that although from the Spring/Summer collection, could rock a look right now. Btw, that pair of boots has been my best buy, how much I wear them!
PS: Congratulations to all those who cast their vote for Venezuela’s presidential elections yesterday! I can’t describe how sad I am after the elections’ outcome. Hugo Chavez has been in the power for 14 years and has been now re-elected for 6 more, but the opposition has unified for the first time, counting with over 6 million of the votes, a hope awakes for the country.
For the first time I break a rule I made up a long time ago of never wearing navy blue with black. However, I took the risk with the first look on my brand new western ankle boots.
It was sunny and hot in London yesterday so I decided to go bare legged with this cotton navy blue dress and added an opened jean shirt to it. Yes, there are lots of ways to combine these boots, but this time I went for something very casual and for a bad hair day I simply added my favourite headband at the moment. I didn’t go for the full Wild West outfit, but that’s the point, just adding a slight cowboy touch.
Let’s go Wild Wild West with this new pair of cowboy ankle boots from Topshop’s new collection. They are on fire, just check out all its details – the flames shape on the leather in the front and back of the boot, and the metal toe caps. Also, they fit incredible well. In conclusion, these cowboy boots are h-o-t! To be honest I have never been a huge fan of the western trend, but I am liking this new wave and I just can’t wait to add them to many different outfits. I am even thinking of wearing them during London Fashion Week… Yeehaaa!
Yeeehaaa!
Yesterday I told you about the new Baukjen brand and its great launch party on Wednesday. Today, I show you the casual outfit I decided to wear for the event. Black & white always works, plus I wanted to wear trousers for a previous busy afternoon and, it’s getting cold, so I combined this new pair of studded black jeans with a long sleeves silk blouse. The key touch over it? A Topshop necklace. Yes, it is a necklace holding from my back, just in case you have never seen this style before (you wear it like a shirt). I really disliked them, but I thought this one in particular could actually work. However, it has been on my necklaces’ box for about 5 months, until I finally wore it and liked it. It even looks as it was part of the top.
Also, you might notice something completely different on my look, different to the daily straight hair. For the first time EVER, literally ever, I managed to do my own waves in front of the mirror, without even watching a tutorial online… maybe just a bit of help on Twitter. I love wavy hair, so from time to time I would like to do it for a different look… Happy Friday!!!
