Outfit of the day: Golden touch

I think this is the first time you ever see me with an accessory on my head, well different from hats and that fascinator I wore once. But I recently received this hairband as a especial present from Venezuela, which I found so cool. With that Pegasus necklace from Stella & Dot, it gave a golden touch to the outfit I wore for a day that ended up at Westfield London, where Vogue and GQ magazine had the “Fashion Playground” event, which I will share next.
I must say that London’s weather has gone absolutely bipolar… rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun… Oh wait, massive storm, sun again… It has been difficult to dress properly for the weather. Yes, it is supposed to be Spring, but it’s not happening yet! However, I have found the times to take the utmost of the little sunshines, but yesterday I was prepared for the rain and cold. Btw, I found that sweater in a random vintage store, so that velvet flower print also added a little different touch to it. How has been your week so far?

Creo que esta es la primera vez que me ven con un accesorio en la cabeza, bueno diferente a sombreros y el tocado que utilicé una vez. Pero recientemente recibí esta diadema, como un regalo especial desde Venezuela, la cual me pareció súper cool y combinable. Con este collar Pegasus de Stella & Dot, le dio un toque dorado al look que llevé en un día que terminó en el centro comercial Westfield London, en donde la revista Vogue y GQ tenian un evento, “Fashion Playground”, el cual voy a compartir proximamente.
Debo decir que el clima está un poco bipolar… lluvia, sol, lluvia, sol, lluvia… Ya va, tormenta… otra vez sol… Ha sido un poco dificil vestirse para este clima. Se supone que es primavera, pero no esta ocurriendo realmente. De igual forma, he aprovechado los momentos de sol, pero ayer si estaba preparada para la lluvia y el frio. Por cierto, este sweater lo encontré en una tienda vintage en las calles de Londres, y esas flores terciopelo le dieron un toque un poco diferente. ¿Cómo va tu semana?
Outfit of the day: Not a shopping spree

Probably people think that fashion bloggers are shopaholics, but the truth is that we mostly hunt specific pieces or collections, without going crazy on one day shopping. However, I must admit I do enjoy long days wandering in high streets or even better, at shopping centres, such as London’s Westfield. It’s the perfect ‘massive’ spot to come around during the weekend, not only for the wide variety of labels, including luxury brands at The Village, but also for having everything at one place -indoors- such as UK’s biggest cinema and delicious cafes and restaurants. I didn’t end up with 100 bags as some might think -I used to be shopaholic, but I have learnt to recycle, reuse, mix and match! And of course, when shopping, I like to wear comfortable and light, but stylish outfits. What about you? Are you a shopping spree?

Probablemente piensen que fashion bloggers son ‘shopaholics’, pero la verdad es que buscamos diseños o colecciones específicas, sin volvernos locas/os en un día de compras. Sin embargo, debo confesar que disfruto al máximo pasar horas en los ‘high streets’ o incluso mejor, en los centros comerciales, tal como ‘Westfield’ en Londres. Es perfecto para pasear los fines de semana, no solo por la variedad de tiendas, incluyendo marcas de lujo en The Village, pero también por ofrecer el cine mas grande de UK y deliciosos cafes y restaurants. No salí con 100 bolsas como algunos pensarán -Yo solía ser shopaholic, pero aprendí a reciclar, reusar y combinar! Y por supuesto, me encanta salir de compras con un look cómodo, light, pero con mi estilo. ¿Cómo eres tú cuando vas de compras?
